Thanksgiving Card

I stamped the barrel of fruits and veggies (J863) with black versafine ink.  I colored the image with Prismacolor colored pencils.

I stamped the Happy Thanksgiving phrase (X1110) and colored it the same color as the pumpkin in the other image.

I cut out both images and layered them on brown cardstock, put them on dark green cardstock and then put on a white card.

I punched oak leaves out of copper Stardreams paper and adhered them to the card.

Finally, I used the clear Art Institute Glitter Glue and Art Institute Glitter to apply glitter to the fruits, veggies and foliage.

Welcome to Stamp N Plus
Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!!

Welcome to StampNPlus Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!! This is the first stop on the hop for today.  If you just happen to be visiting, then you should head over to Stamp N Plus  for the beginning of this fabulous hop!

This stamp is from the Sarah Scribble's line of stamps from Stamp N Plus.  The girl w/pumpkin image is I-SEA013.

I stamped the image on white card stock, colored it with permanent alcohol markers, added yellow Stickles to the wings and cut out the image.  The matte layer is yellow card stock and I took an orange piece of card stock and punched out the pattern on each side.  Once I had the orange paper punched, I took a piece of white cardstock, used a punch on the corners and added metallic red thread to the top and bottom.

Finally I stamped the phrase and layered everything until the card was complete.

This stamp is from the Sarah Scribble's line of stamps from Stamp N Plus. The girl w/balloons image is J-SEA011.

For this card, I took a pink sheet of card stock and used an embossing folder for the matte layer.  Then, I took a rectangle piece of chipboard and covered it with pink paper covered in white dots.

I stamped the image on white cardstock, then stamped the balloon part of the stamp three more times, stamped Happy Birthday on a separate piece of white cardstock, colored everything with permanent alcohol markers and cut them all out.

When everything was cut out, I adhered the chipboard to the card, and layered the balloons to make a bigger bouquet, took one of the bunches of balloons and put it behind the phrase and, as a final touch, added yellow Stickles to the flame of the candle.

I hope you enjoyed my cards.  Now it's time to visit Beverly's blog.....head on over and have a look at her wonderful creations!!!

Stamp N Plus Scrap N August Challenge -- Flowers

This card was made using SNPSN flower stamp L583.  Randomly stamped the flower image on glossy paper using Versamark Dazzle - Champagne, then brayered on Adirondack ink (Rueberry, I believe) for the resist effect.  I stamped the image on white card stock three times, colored them with colored pencils and layered it on burgundy cardstock.  I added the bling to the centers of the flowers, added some multi-colored DMC-type floss at the top and bottom of the burgundy cardstock and then adhered it to my card.

If Cindy Groh sent you over for a visit, then you are exactly where you are meant to be. If you just happen to be visiting, then you should head over to Stamp N Plus for the beginning of this fabulous hop!

For this card, the Dreamer stamp was used.  I took white card stock and stamped the image with black VersaFine.  I then cut out around the Dreamer and cut apart the phrase.  Using color pencils, I colored the dress a mustard yellow and added darker highlights using the same colored pencil.  After that, I took some holographic Christmas tinsel in gold and silver and attached them to the end of the wand to give it some texture and sparkle.  Finally I added patterned star paper, along with holographic jewels, to finish off the background and adhered the Dreamer and the phrase.

I hope you enjoyed my card. As I am the last blog on the hop, I would like to thank everyone for visiting and I hope you have enjoyed all the creative creations from our wonderful Stamp N Plus Scrap N Design Team.

I made this card using the SNPSN watermelon and You're One in a Melon stamps.  I used pink cardstock and randomly stamped the watermelon image with a black Versafine ink pad, stamping additional images to later be cut out and popped up. I colored all the watermelon rind portion of the images with a green marker and cut out 6 of the watermelon slices.  After cutting out the slices, I adhered brown teardrop embellishments for the seeds and popped the slices up. I used the SNPSN Gem chalk and applied it to white cardstock with a cotton ball and used it as the first matte layer on the card.  Finally I stamped the You're One in a Melon phrase with a VersaMark pad, used the Gem chalk and rubbed it over the saying with a cotton ball until the saying appeared.

Welcome to the Stamp N Plus Scrap N Anything Goes Challenge.  With this card I used one of the cats from Patty's Kids.  I colored the image with color pencils, cut it out and layered it on black paper and then on coral paper.  I cut the  first matte out of pattered kitty paper and adhered it to a brown card.  I placed the image in the left corner.  I stamped "Happy Birthday" on white cardstock, cut it out and layered it on black cardstock and popped it up on the kitty paper.  I finished it off with a flower with a brown brad in the middle.

This is a unique stamp from SNPSN.  It is one stamp that looks like a hag one direction and when flipped around it is a princess.  This is the same card, just with the picture rotated using the brad to change the direction and sentiment. I don't know that this is on the SNPSN website, but if you are interested in purchasing this stamp, you can contact SNPSN.

Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!!

If Cindy Groh sent you over for a visit, then you are exactly where you are meant to be. If you just happen to be visiting then you should head over to StampNPlus  for the beginning of this fabulous hop!

Our Stamp of the Month for June is the frog on a limb.

I used patterned paper w/shiny green leaves as my background on my white cardstock card. I stamped the frog on white cardstock, colored him with colored pencils and popped him up on the paper.

I then punched a bunch of small flowers out of  yellow cardstock and punched the grass out of  green cardstock. I cut a small piece of green cardstock to use as a stem  (about 2 inches long) and then randomly glued on the yellow flowers.

Finally, I glued the first row of grass to the card and then popped up the other two layers. I stuck the stemmed flowers into the space beween the pop-up tape.  I put a piece of pop-up tape behind the flowers  to adhere them to the card.

Now, head on over to  Beverly's blog....

I made this card a using the wine bottle and goblet iris foldings stamps at Stamp N Plus.  I stamped the images on white cardstock and cut out the portions to be iris folded.  I used a wine colored iridescent paper (when I took the picture the wine color would not show - just the shimmer does). I adhered the bottle and goblet to purple cardstock.   I then stamped the sentiment (company unknown) and added some grape and leaf buttons.
This is one of my favorite cat stamps from the Stamp N Plus.  I stamped the image on white cardstock and used color pencils to color and shade.  I then put it on a black matte on a white card.  I then punched out the scalloped rectangle on white cardstock and added the sentiment (which is from Rubbernecker) and added some yellow bubble-type stickers (Cloud 9) on the corners.
